I've been reading psychological/supernatural-themed mangas on http://onemanga.com. The content is more suited for mature readers. The storyline is full of dark emotions so the endings are always, always sombre and leave you in deep thoughts. I like such storylines. They're like food for my brain. It allows me to take my psychological skills to the next level and also, widen my view in life.

The main theme for this must be death, hatred, vengeance and forgiveness. I must admit this manga unnerved me when i first read it because this has to be the darkest manga i've ever read.

It's about a place called the Gate of Grudges and its keeper is called Izuko. People who had been murdered were brought there and given three choices, to go to Heaven and be reborn, remain as a ghost on earth or haunt and kill someone before going to Hell.

It's interesting. Would you forgive the person who killed you? Or would you want vengeance? Or do you miss something so dearly on earth that you would remain earthbound for eternity?

My advice is, read this only if you can keep your emotions in check. Nuff said. But i already knew which option i will pick years ago.

I'm like super addicted to this manga now, along with Detective Conan. I can't get enough of detective stories. In fact, i'm thinking of getting the hardcopy if Kinokuniya sells them.

Neuro is a demon who has come to the human world to satisfy his hunger for "puzzles". He meets up with Yako and solves the mystery of her father's death. He forces her to act as a detective and makes her his slave. And he's a sadist who takes great delight in bullying Yako. :D

Neuro's the highlight of this manga. From putting on an innocent, childlike face to tormenting the humans by his side to truly being a cruel, unforgiving sadist to his enemies, he never fails to entertain readers with his antics. Hehe :D
