Yesterday while I'm leaving the lift, I had this sudden urge to smile. So I smiled at this maid who was about to enter the lift. And she smiled back. Totally made my day. (:



Sometimes I just smile at strangers for no reason. Just not to Singaporeans. I have this feeling they'll just give me the 'This girl is crazy' look or simply stone at me.



I feel slightly guilty, though. I feel that I'm a lot nicer to strangers than I'm to people who I know. With the people I know, I can't tell whether I'm being nice out of obligation or I seriously care for them.

Hello! Nice to meet you! I'm Charmaine. I graduated from NYP with a Diploma in Food Science, but I'd rather eat a smelly sock than go into that field. I'm hoping to become a psychology undergraduate this year. In the meantime, I'm working as a waitress at SoHo7 Cafe & Bistro (I may just be the one serving you!).
